Crystaldrops.co.uk opened on the 3rd of April 2006. I actually started this site in around January and had to try and learn Iframes (what I used to use) and how everything worked. I never realised that I'd get so many visitors as I have done, and I really appreciate all the lovely comments everyone leaves on the tagboard. :)
To be honest, I have no idea why I named the site Crystaldrops! I was just looking round at websites for insparation on a name and it just popped into my head!
It's a quite an unusual name but I wanted it to be unique, not something with "dollie", I don't know if Crystal Drops is that unique, but ah well. I've had so many site names such as Redmoon, Purple Sparks and Black Soul. Some of my old sites didn't even have a name. Haha.
I've lived with computers for like.. forever.. haha. I only came interested in doll sites when I came across Dollidol, that doll msn avatar website. I really liked the dolls you could put on it and started searching for things like 'dolls'. I soon found out about site's like this one. The first ever sites I noticed were: Cute Huggelz, Angel Kizz, Easy Doll and Rainbow Bright. I admired their sites SO much and learnt HTML using different websites. I found Freewebs, and began to build a site. I didn't have iframes or anything, it was just a random page with a few things on. I learnt more and more HTML, and my sites were getting better and improving heaps. I felt like the happiest girl alive when I opened my site 'Purple Sparks' and got a girl called 'Tina' being the first (and only) person to post on my guestbook.
I'm pretty sure Crystaldrops has grown bigger and bigger, to think I only had a couple of pages of content!
So that's what Crystaldrops is all about, if you could be bothered to read it. =D
